  3D Display environment
Computer screen need to display geometric object in space though it is plane. changing to different view angle and position for distinguishing relative position relationships of objects clearly in space is necessary.
3D display environment can assist user to create space relationships to pick , view and distinguish object
quickly and exactly.

  2. 3D modelling environment
Product model is expressed by different type of curve and surface.Curves and surfaces represent both product shape and hierarchy relationships. 3D modelling environment can fulfill data management in process of designing product that make it convenient to distinguish logical relationships of parts.
Features:
1)Automatically snap feature points , such as end point , centre of circle and toolpath nodes ,etc.
2)Provide complete tools for establishing , managing and changing user coordinate systerm (UCS)
3)Managing layer tools assist user to differentiate graphics with different function and position relationship.
4) Linetype and color is used to differentiate central line,auxiliary line and boundary, etc.
     
  3.Draw 3D curve
Surface modelling is based on curves. 70% of total time is spended on drawing 3D curves during whole process. The way of constructing curves are flexible. For the same curve, different means is for drawing the same curve in different conditions.Precondition of raising drawing efficiency is that software should consider drawing background adequately and provide corresponding drawing functions.
Features:
1)Can draw line,arc and superline in many ways.
2)Can generate surface intersection, surface boundary, surface streamline and die parting line.
3)Provide editing tools such as smooth,adjoin,trim and fillet,etc.
4)Define temporary drawing plane using curves and space point.
     
  4.constructing surface function
Comparing with curve design , surface design function is much intuitive and you can view design effect of each step .surface design process is relative interesting.

1)Construct regular geometric surface quickly,such as sphere , cylinder and ellipsoid ,etc.
